Radical Characters is a study group and curatorial project that explores the relationship between design and culture in the Chinese and Chinese American community. We hope to co-build history and community by creating new dialogues through educational experiences. Each project is informed by a 汉字 Hanzi (Chinese character) and extends into the forms of exhibitions, publications, lectures, and workshops. At its core, Radical Characters openly seeks out community and shares collective knowledge within and beyond the Chinese and Chinese American community.
